With over 15 years of experience across residential agency, international new homes, and affordable housing, Ryan’s journey has shaped the values and vision behind Highlight.
At just 23, he set up a local lettings business in West Lothian, before relocating to Dubai to lead new-build sales and lettings in a fast-paced international market.
On returning to the UK, he worked in residential development consultancy – advising housebuilder clients on sales strategy and market positioning.
More recently, he held a senior operational role at a for-profit registered provider, overseeing the acquisition, sales, management, and disposal of hundreds of affordable homes across multiple local authority areas.
In 2025, Ryan launched Highlight Sales & Property Management to bring a more commercially focused, practical approach to residential sales and lettings – supporting private sellers, landlords, SME housebuilders, and housing providers.
