Highlight has officially launched its sales and property management services, marking a significant step in its growth across the West of Edinburgh, including towns such as Broxburn, Uphall, Bathgate, Winchburgh, Ratho, Kirkliston, South Queensferry. This strategic move positions the company at the centre of one of Scotland’s most ambitious growth corridors, supporting the delivery of good-quality homes and helping to create vibrant, well-connected communities.
At the heart of this expansion is a vision to create the first Highlight Housing Hub. More than a traditional sales office, the Hub will act as a central point for property advice, buyer and tenant support, and local engagement. It has been designed as a welcoming space for housing and community support – a place where residents can access clear guidance on homes for sale or rent, get help navigating affordable options, and have their voices heard on the issues that matter locally.
The scale of growth in this area is impressive. Winchburgh alone will see over 3,800 new homes, alongside new schools, a marina, expansive parkland and a revitalised town centre. Nearby, the West Town development is set to deliver around 7,000 homes, creating a new urban quarter for Edinburgh. Further south, Elements Edinburgh is expected to bring forward over 1,600 homes, commercial space and new green infrastructure. Together, these projects represent one of Scotland’s largest concentrations of new housing delivery, offering major opportunities for both residents and developers.
Highlight local service offer is tailored to match this scale and ambition. The team will provide specialist new homes sales and marketing for developers, comprehensive estate agency services for buyers and sellers, and professional lettings and property management for PRS, build-to-rent, and mid-market-rent schemes. Alongside this, Highlight will deliver strategic market insights to help shape tenure mix, pricing and absorption strategies that reflect local demand and support successful, well-balanced developments.
The planned Highlight Housing Hub will act as a physical base for these services. It will be a place where people can learn about upcoming projects, receive practical guidance on buying or renting, and affordable housing options. Beyond this, the Hub will help connect new residents to local services, businesses and wider community initiatives the area continues to grow and evolve.
By establishing a strong local presence, Highlight aims to become a trusted partner to both the public and private sectors, supporting the delivery of more homes while contributing to the creation of stronger, better-connected places. With deep expertise in new build sales and property management, and with a clear focus on community-led growth, the company is well placed to play a key role in shaping West Edinburgh’s housing future.
We’re now inviting housing associations, developers, and local businesses to get behind our vision, and share our commitment to investing in people, property, and place for the long term.
